Tyson Fury has blamed Josh Warrington’s shock defeat to Mauricio Lara on inactivity.
The Brit, who vacated his IBF featherweight world title last month in search of bigger fights, accepted a tune-up bout when his planned contest with Can Xu fell through.
However, it far from went to plan.

Warrington started poorly from round one and found himself being caught flush by his unorthodox opponent.
In round four, Lara made the breakthrough as a combination staggered Warrington before a giant left hook sent him crashing to the canvas.
The Leeds man just about rose to his feet and was allowed to continue by referee Howard Foster, despite looking near-certain to be stopped.
Fury reacted on social media: “Tonight the fight world seen another victim of inactivity in Josh Warrington.
“COVID has destroyed a lot of careers. Can’t beat staying active.”
Interestingly though, some fans took this tweet to be a subtle message about his fight with Anthony Joshua.
At the start of this month, Fury also put Conor McGregor’s defeat to Dustin Poirier on inactivity and even suggested it could affect him if his fight with AJ is confirmed to take place next as expected.

He is now repeatedly referencing inactivity, perhaps trying to present the idea that Joshua will have an advantage over him.
Fury told Gareth A Davies: “It’s gonna be him active, six months only out the ring, and me inactive, 18 months out the ring.
“But I’m that far in front of them all, it doesn’t matter. Heart, grit, determination, punch power, balls.
“Doesn’t matter how much head start I give them, I’ll always catch them down the straight.”
