WrestleMania season got a real jolt with the main event of Elimination Chamber.

Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy kicked off the second Elimination Chamber of the night before being joined by WWE champion, Drew McIntyre.

The Scot came out full of fire and instantly renewed his hostile rivalry with The Viper who had already worn the veteran Hardy down.

Kofi Kingston, who successfully defended his WWE title against Orton when he was champion in 2019, was next out and the old foes instantly got stuck into each other. After their first scuffle, Kofi ended up pinning Orton!
Orton was not happy and RKO’d both Kingston and Hardy.

AJ Styles wanted to take advantage of the situation and had Omos rip open his pod for him. Omos was ejected by Adam Pearce, but Styles was able to enter the match and take control.

Once Sheamus got in, he and McIntyre obviously squared off and no man was backing down. They beat on each other until the rest of the participants got involved. Only Orton had been eliminated at this stage.

After Kingston did so well do take it to the other men with some high-flying offence, Sheamus got rid of the New Day man with a Brogue Kick.

Hardy then hit a Twist of Fate on Sheamus, McIntyre and Styles. He hit a Whisper in the Wind from the top of the pod on McIntyre and Sheamus before a Swanton Bomb on Styles, but McIntyre landed a Claymore Kick to send Hardy packing.

After a back-and-forth between the final three men that saw Sheamus land a Brogue Kick on McIntyre, Styles hit Sheamus with the Phenomenal Forearm that saw the Irishman eliminated.

McIntyre then landed a Claymore Kick on Styles, who was mid-air going for another Phenomenal Forearm, to secure the win and survive the chamber.

As the chamber lifted, Bobby Lashley attacked McIntyre and absolutely laid out the champ, finishing him off with the Hurt Lock.

That’s when The Miz’s music hit and he ran down to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. After a near-fall DDT and a Skull Crushing Finale, The Miz began his second reign as the WWE champion.

MVP struck a deal with The Miz earlier in the night seemingly alluding to the fact Lashley will receive a future shot for helping him.
