Reggie Miller was a big-time trash talker in his playing days. He has toned down since becoming an analyst. But after UCLA beat Michigan to advance to the Final Four, Miller went back to his roots. His target: fellow analyst Chris Webber.
Via Twitter, Miller posted a clip of the Bruins celebrating after their victory over Michigan — Webber’s alma mater. Then, he turned the camera to himself to join in on the celebration.

Miller must have been itching to engage in some good old trash-talking for quite some time. The UCLA alum has been a reputation as one of the finest commentators in basketball today, but people seem to forget that once upon a time, Miller was one of the fiercest trash talkers in the game. He was going toe-to-toe with Michael Jordan who’s also known for getting into the minds of his foes.
So the clip and Miller’s message above brings us back to the old days when Miller was regarded not just as one of the best shooters in the game, but someone who could assault you just by talking.
The Bruins barely did it, but were able to escape with the victory, 51-49. It was a gritty, low-scoring affair as Johnny Juzang’s 28 points was the only total that eclipsed 11 points. The Wolverines were given a last-gasp attempt at the buzzer, but failed to convert.

If Juzang and the UCLA Bruins can pull off another epic upset against the absolute Goliath in Gonzaga, you can just imagine how Reggie Miller and every other Bruins alum would be like.
