Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler did everything to eke out the victory against the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Apart from padding the stat sheet, Butler showed off his acting chops by trying to sell a flagrant foul late in the game.
Check Butler’s Oscar-worthy performance below. With 4.8 seconds left in the game, the Heat needed any advantage they could get. Butler risked getting slammed by fans by trying to fake an eye injury. He didn’t get the call, but the Heat walked away with a 98-96 victory.

Jimmy Butler finished with a game-high 26 points, as well as eight rebounds and 10 assists. Kelly Olynyk was right behind him with 20 points, while Bam Adebayo chipped in 19 points. Tyler Herro scored 15 behind a trifecta of 3-pointers.
Slowly and surely, the Heat are getting back on track after struggling in the first few games of the season. They have now won three games in a row and hold a 10-14 record. Butler missed a chunk of Miami’s January schedule due to a combination of minor injuries and the league’s health and safety protocols.
With Butler back, the Heat seem to be returning to their title contender form. They have a chance to extend their streak to four games on Thursday against the Houston Rockets.
