Brooklyn Nets star Blake Griffin turned back the clock on Friday night. Well, maybe just a little bit.
Griffin was on the receiving end of a James Harden alley-oop lob, which the former finished in rather impressive fashion (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

While this did not exactly look like the Griffin of old, it’s great to see that Blake still has a bit of spring left in him. He stretched to get that Harden lob as he completed what is easily one of his best moments early in his Nets career.
Worth noticing is how Griffin stared down the Detroit Pistons bench after his emphatic jam. There appears to be no love lost between the six-time All-Star and his former teammates. As it looked like Blake was involved in a bit of smack talking with a few Pistons players. As a matter of fact, Detroit rookie Isaiah Stewart was tossed in the second quarter after what looked like an intentional elbow right smack on Griffin’s grill.
Things got a bit heated on the following play as Blake had a bit of an altercation with Saddiq Bey:

Griffin is not expected to fill in a superstar role for the Nets. However, these are the types of plays that prove that he can still make a significant impact for the Nets this season.
