A big screen fitness tracker for just under €50

- It sports an SpO2 sensor, heart-rate tracking, and a 1.47-inch display.
- It’ll be available for €50.
After it made its first global appearance at CES 2021, Honor has finally announced general availability of the Honor Band 6.
Although it’s billed as a fitness tracker, the Band 6 sports a large display that would rival many a smartwatch. It measures 1.47-inches across with a 368 x 194 resolution. Honor claims that’s nearly a 150% increase in display size over its predecessor. The screen’s also clad in an anti-fingerprint coating.

As for health smarts, the Band 6 packs a pulse oximeter, a continuous heart-rate tracker that also monitors heart-rate variability, and sleep tracking. It also tracks 10 workout modes, six of which the band will automatically recognize. It’s water-resistant up to 50 meters so swimming is fair game, too.
Honor notes the Band 6’s 180mAh battery can last up to 10 days on a single charge in “heavy-usage situations.” A 10-minute charge does give users three days of battery life, too.
Finally, some basic smartwatch tricks also feature including music control on Android phones, smartphone notification mirroring, and find my phone functionality.
The Band 6 will be available from AliExpress for €49.90 (~$59) beginning March 28. The tracker is also hitting Honor’s own store next month. As for colorways, the Band 6 can be had in Meteorite Black, Sandstone Gray, or Coral Pink.
